Stephanie Drawdy has studied at the New York Academy of Art and holds a B.A. in Studio Art from College of Charleston. She has long been influenced by the climate and topography of her native South Carolina. Her current work features representational and surreal expressions of Caribbean land, sea and dreamscapes. She seeks to communicate the serenity and excitement she experiences during visits to the islands through the use of color. Her paintings have been accepted into juried group exhibitions throughout the country, including Washington, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, California, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and are in private and corporate collections. Stephanie currently divides her time between South Carolina and Manhattan.
